Unless you’re a madman, you can’t make do in the art fields. You’ve got to be inspired and mad and excited and love it more than anything else in the world.
And if any girl doesn’t like what you’re doing, out of your life. And any of your male friends make fun of you, to hell with them. Out. Out.
It has to be this kind of, “By God, I’ve got to do it. I’ve simply got to do it.” And if you’re not this excited, you can’t win.
