The draft
The page icon is your draft: your working script. Type or paste into it; everything is saved in this browser as you go. The box grows as you write, so you’re never typing at its bottom edge.
Shapes
U Z S W E J are the six shapes. Each splits a script into steps, with a box for each step, and each keeps its own text, so you can switch freely. Click the letter you’re on for that shape’s instructions. Click a step’s name to hide or show the prompts; (i) shows the step’s tip, and % shows how long each step runs.
Rings and checks
A ring under a letter means that shape has text that isn’t in your draft yet. A check means it’s in your draft, unchanged.
Add to draft, Preview, Clear
Add to draft stitches the boxes into one script and sends it to your draft. If the draft already has text, choose Add to end or Replace. Preview shows the stitched script; Edit goes back to the boxes. Clear empties the shape.
The reference
Open it with the panel icon or ⌘⇧F. Search by brand or title, or type a shape (“W shape”) or a theme (“values”) to see its guide and its manifestos. Scripts marked Steps can be cut into their steps: click Steps under the title, and Whole script to go back. Click the theme to read about it. The arrows go back and forward.
Download and copy
The download icon saves what’s showing as a text file (⌘S), or copies it. Your work is kept in this browser as you type, but download anything you want to keep. Come back after 4 hours away and the workspace starts fresh.
Undo and reset
Clear, Add to draft, Restore, Delete and Reset happen right away. Undo, or ⌘Z, takes them back for a few seconds. The circle arrow resets the whole workspace: text, shapes, panel and sizes.
Sizing
Drag the bottom edge of the box to change its height; double-click it to fit the text. Drag the line between the box and the panel to change the widths; double-click it for half and half.
